Flint Hills Community Church

Do you crave a community of people who care for you no matter what your background is? Do you feel as though you don't know God very well, and you wish you could know Him better? We invite you to come worship with us at Flint Hills Community Church at the south edge of historic Cottonwood Falls, Kansas.

Flint Hills Community Church exists to bring people closer to God and to each other through Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus Christ is the most important person in human history. He visited our planet to prove his power and his goodness and to pay for all the misdeeds we humans have committed. God raised him back to life on the third day after his crucifixion. All who depend on him joyfully receive forgiveness from God as well as eternal life. We believe Jesus is coming back to rule this world and right all the wrongs that plague it. We eagerly anticipate his return!
We have an active program. We meet at 9:30 am on Sunday mornings for Prayer and Share time. We have an all-age Sunday School for children, youth, and adults that meets on Sundays at 10:00 am. At 10:45 every Sunday morning we worship God together with praise, prayer, a children's story and a message from God's Word that is uplifting and that challenges us to serve God. At 5:30 pm Sunday evenings during the school year, we conduct AWANA, a stimulating youth program for elementary and middle-school age children. There are three divisions of AWANA: Sparks, T&T (Truth and Training), and Trek.

On Wednesday evenings at 3:30-5:30 pm we have MAMAs, for "Mothers Against Mental Anguish." We try to encourage wives and mothers to be the best wives and mothers they can be. You might say it is a support group for these women. At 6 pm we hold Youth 412 for students in grades 7 to 12. Our youth eat a meal that is served by volunteers, then compete in recreational sports and games in our multipurpose building. Finally, they meet together for praise and worship and a Bible-based motivational time.

On Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in the evenings, we hold various home Bible studies, where we study the Bible, pray, and provide support for one another.
